Your Health Information Is Different
Body transformation is personal. What you share with us in a consultation — your goals, your history, your photos — deserves a higher level of protection than ordinary website data, and that is exactly how we treat it.
Where We Stand Under HIPAA
Bodenvy locations do not bill insurance or government healthcare programs, so we are not a HIPAA "covered entity." We protect your health information anyway: we voluntarily follow HIPAA-aligned privacy and security safeguards because it is the right way to run this business.
What We Collect
Consultation and intake forms, relevant medical history, treatment notes, body scans and photos, scheduling and payment details, and communications with us by phone, text, website, or in person. Where you use our transformation app, health metrics you choose to track, such as body composition, glucose, or ketone readings.
How We Use It — and How We Never Use It
We use health information to confirm you are a good candidate, schedule and deliver your treatments, coordinate with our medical professionals, maintain quality, and keep legally required records.
We never sell, rent, or exchange health-related data. Health information is never used for advertising, never shared with ad or analytics platforms, and never disclosed for marketing by anyone. Disclosures happen only to the licensed professionals involved in your care, to service providers bound by contract to use it solely to serve you, when the law requires it, or with your written authorization.

Your Rights
You may ask to review your health information, request corrections, request deletion (subject to record-keeping laws), ask who has received it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Body Scans and Biometric Information
Some of our technologies — like the Visia 3D skin scan and the SECA body composition scanner — capture detailed measurements of your face or body. Where these qualify as biometric information under your state's law (including Texas and Illinois), we collect them only with your informed written consent, use them solely for your assessment and treatment, never sell them or use them for advertising, and delete them when they are no longer needed for your care or within the time your state's law requires, whichever comes first.
If Something Goes Wrong
If a security incident ever affects your health information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law — including the FTC's Health Breach Notification Rule, which covers health apps like our transformation app — promptly and plainly, with what happened and what we are doing about it.
Consumer Health Data (Washington, Nevada, and Similar Laws)
Some states protect "consumer health data" broadly — including information that merely suggests an interest in health services, like filling out a body-sculpting candidacy form. For residents of those states: this page is our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. We collect only the health-related data described above, for the purposes described above; we do not sell consumer health data, do not share it for advertising, and collect or share it otherwise only with your consent or as needed to provide services you asked for. You have the rights to know, access, delete, and withdraw consent described in this page.
About Our Locations
Each bodenvy location is independently owned and operated and is responsible for the records it creates in-clinic. All locations are expected to follow these same safeguards as part of the bodenvy brand.
